    The program will present different perspectives on the implications of economic crises on antitrust policy.  Among the topics to be explored will be the principles that should guide antitrust policy in periods of economic distress, the potential consequences of mergers approved based on “merge to survive” arguments, and  questions more specifically raised by the current crisis in the financial sector.
