Amidst the Supreme Court’s ongoing efforts to dismantle the legacy of radical Reconstruction, the New Deal, and twentieth-century civil rights law, new voices are needed in civil rights law, policy, and jurisprudence. Selected by invitation and a call for papers, panelists will summarize their cutting-edge civil rights scholarship— encompassing not only federal courts and policies, but also state, administrative, and poor people’s courts—and commentators will reply substantively to the presentations.
