To attract a qualified and diverse class, admissions officers are speaking a new language; the language of the millennials. From the way that marketing messages are communicated to dealing with “helicopter parents”, admissions officers are catering to every need of this demanding population. What happens when the red carpet treatment goes away at the onset of law school?  Are we building expectations that other departments/faculty cannot meet?  Are other departments engaged in the handholding that often occurs in admissions? Join us for a discussion on how admissions, student services, and other service-oriented offices can work together to better manage this new breed of challenging students.
