National Security Law Advice to the New Administration
(Program to be published in Journal of National Security Law & Policy)
One or more presenters were selected from a call for papers.
The next Administration will confront several national security challenges and opportunities. National security law will be a central component in shaping the Administration responses to the issues that carry over from the Bush Administration and its War on Terror, and to policies that will be developed in the coming years. Our panelists will provide national security law advice to the new Administration in a range of areas from intelligence collection law and policy and its reform, to the role of international law in shaping U.S. law, to provision for human and societal security, to detention and adjudication of suspected terrorists. We will begin with presentations by the panelists, followed by a moderated dialogue and concluding with an opportunity for the audience to join the conversation.
