Sessions Description

  • For many years, the dominance of Delaware corporate law has been unquestionable with numerous corporations choosing to incorporate within the state regardless of where they are actually headquartered.  Recent developments have called this dominance into question.  As a result, a number of other states are seeking to challenge Delaware's supremacy by offering alternative regulatory regimes.  This panel explores how Delaware law has evolved in recent years, why this evolution has threatened its regulatory dominance, what sort of regulatory alternatives are available, and whether other states will be successful at luring corporations away from Delaware.
