Sessions Description

  • The Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005 (BAPCPA) was implemented on Oct. 17, 2005. In this panel, professors will assess how the law shaped both business and consumer bankruptcies during the intervening twenty years. This includes discussion of access to bankruptcy, changes in attorney representation, expansion of process, and other trends that impacted the way people and companies alike interact with the bankruptcy system.
