This concurrent session will serve as a forum for discussing best practices in designing and directing a clinic where students litigate cases in appellate forums like the federal courts of appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States. This session also aims to foster a sense of community among appellate clinicians, furthering the community-building that routinely occurs through the National Appellate Clinic Network’s email distribution list. We'll discuss case selection, course structure, team structure, and clinic seminar.
