    Academic Leadership

What is academic leadership? How do you become a leader within a section of the AALS? Why should you even want to do such a thing? Can academic leadership enhance your reputation as a scholar or as an outstanding classroom teacher? Can you influence developments in legal education or in the legal profession? Can you see yourself as a future leader of a section within the AALS?

This lively and informative roundtable session will remove some of the mysteries of academic leadership. It will inspire new professors and those who have not previously contributed their talent to leadership of an AALS section. It will enhance your enjoyment of future AALS annual meetings, and stimulate section activities between annual meetings. It will encourage present and future leaders to create successful section programs and activities. Learn the success secrets of academic leadership.
