This program, for law library directors new to their positions, will examine the various factors of change that have impinged on law libraries over the past few years. These factors include e-books, e-journals, social media and statistical databases. The dilemma lies in the need to pay for new media forms and services within static and steadily decreasing budgets. Panelists will present organization and reorganization charts, along with forms and charts, to indicate ways of rebalancing staff from traditional law library tasks to new areas to handle the needs of the modern law library patron, both student and faculty.
