Sessions Description

  • The goal of this session is to help law schools identify proven, research-based strategies that increase student readiness and bar passage outcomes. Leveraging data showing that JD-Next participants are 9.7% more likely to pass the bar exam, this session will connect predictive learning data with practical application. This presentation will then transition to an overview of the forthcoming Strategies & Techniques for the NextGen Bar Exam resource from Aspen Publishing and Themis Bar Review.

At the end of this session, attendees will:

    • Understand the empirical link between JD-Next participation and bar exam success.
    • Gain actionable strategies for embedding skill-building and bar readiness within the curriculum.
    • Learn how to integrate evidence-based materials (such as the Strategies and Tactics booklet) into academic support and bar prep programs.
    • Identify new opportunities for cross-promotional partnerships that enhance student outcomes.
