    Learning from Legal Texts: Can Words Regain Their Meaning?

     

    This section will focus on different lessons that can be learned from ambiguities that occur within legal texts. The theme will be whether techniques are available through which familiar ambiguities can nonetheless be seen as pointing toward specific solutions to legal problems. Alternatively, does textual ambiguity offer legal decision makers an opportunity to rely on extra factors as decisive?
