(Program to be published in Georgetown Journal on Poverty Law and Policy)
One or more presenters were selected from a call for papers.
The focus of this program will be to explore the value of “fostering justice and public service in the legal community,” emphasizing not only our pedagogical goal of teaching our students how to serve individual client needs, but also, as importantly, our duty to instill in our students a recognition of the importance of promoting justice on a broader scale and transforming unjust legal systems, structures, and paradigms. With speakers from within and outside legal academia, the program will include concrete examples of academic and clinical projects that advance these teaching and service goals.
