A Change in the Air: The Impact of New Ethnicity Categories on Law School Recruitment and Admissions Policies and Practices

There will be some new ethnic categories that law school admissions offices will need to be aware of. The changes to these new categories may have some important implications in terms of who, where and how law school admissions offices recruit, admit and support applicants and students. The impact might also be felt in the law school's enrollment management efforts and the educational benefits of diversity. The changes will certainly impact longitudinal data that is collected. It will also have an impact on how historical data can be compressed or contained. This panel of experienced admissions officers and an educational researcher will discuss these changes and their implications on the art, science and practice of law school admissions.

    Business Meeting at Program Conclusion.
