Sessions Description

  • In an era of increasing tax complexity, the number of tax courses offered at many law schools has declined, even as tax issues rise in prominence. This panel explores the unique challenges faced by tax faculty navigating this imbalance. Panelists will address a variety of pressing topics, including managing course coverage with a limited number of tax professors, developing and updating courses to reflect emerging issues, strategies for efficiently covering multiple topics across the curriculum, and obtaining resources to support both classroom teaching and assessments. The discussion will highlight both the demands and opportunities of teaching in this evolving landscape, offering practical methodologies and frameworks to help faculty meet the needs of their students. This session is designed to benefit tax professors at all stages of their careers.
