Sessions Description
-
The past several years have witnessed unprecedented pressure on the U.S. system of elections, from norming-breaking challenges to election results to doxxing election officials to a dramatic rise in public distrust of election administration. Likewise, moves at the federal level to shift the balance of power over elections may upend long-held assumptions about how elections on this country are run. With rapid change comes both challenge and opportunity. This panel will explore how the U.S. election system is holding up, where cracks are and are likely to form, and how best to ensure democratic resiliency going forward.
