Sessions Description

  • This program will explore the extent to which law professors can and should use their platforms to counter the recent unprecedented attacks on the bedrock principles that undergird our legal system. The panelists will discuss the myriad ways that law professors can leverage their expertise, including through teaching innovations, supporting student efforts, engaging in direct legal advocacy, and participating in other advocacy efforts. The panelists will address why they have focused their energies in particular ways, what challenges they have faced and how they have navigated them, and what they plan to do next. The program will also explore how law professors across schools could collaborate to further these efforts.
