    This panel explores the dean's role in fostering diversity. Topics will likely include recruitment and retention of faculty, students, and staff. The panel will include perspectives from both public and private schools and discussion of both successful and unsuccessful strategies. The panel will also likely discuss the value of diversity in the law school, university, and professional settings as well as recent trends in the profession.  A later session open to deans only will provide an opportunity for deans to continue the discussion.
