This poster presentation will foster dialogue on movement lawyering, evolving client services, and pedagogy that supports social movements. It highlights a community clinic in Albuquerque, New Mexico, developed through collaboration between the University of New Mexico’s Clinical Program and immigrant communities. The community clinic empowers immigrant workers with tools to defend their rights against exploitative employers. Over years of collaborative efforts between attorneys, law professors, law students, and immigrant communities, the project has faced both challenges and successes. This presentation shares key insights from these experiences, offering reflections on advocating for workers’ rights and strengthening community-driven legal support.
