Sessions Description

  • The last decade has seen a resurgence in workplace organizing and broadscale strikes, accompanied by renewed attention to labor and economic regulation. Today, however, polarization in law and federal-state relations have further eroded rule of law, norms of fairness, and democracy. Our panelists will comment upon recent developments in labor law and governance, sharing insights into worker organizing, in particular, the growth of social justice unionism, federal infrastructure, and the changing role of courts. In conversation, they will connect their expertise to current administrative efforts to rescind or introduce legal norms through the workplace.
