    Institutional Pluralism and the Development of Commercial Law

    Modern commercial law is formulated in an extraordinarily diverse array of institutional contexts, including: the courts and legislatures of various jurisdictions, bodies such as the American Law Institute, trade associations, UNCITRAL and the International Chamber of Commerce. This panel will assess the extent, causes and importance of this phenomenon, and the implications for legal education, scholarship and practice.
