    The financial crisis and recession of 2008-2009 have already brought new reforms and additional scrutiny to executive compensation.  Moreover, rising unemployment, falling corporate profits, and collapsing equity markets all threaten the retirement security of millions of workers. The panel will consider what--if anything--policymakers can and should do to regulate executive compensation and stabilize retirement savings in the new economic environment.
