International studies programs today come in all shapes and sizes:  summer, semester, and year abroad, externships, dual or joint degree programs, ad hoc arrangements, and the like.  Not surprisingly, as our law schools’ diversity of programs expands, the administrative aspects of our programs grow more complex.

Experts on this panel will focus on new developments in the ABA’s regulatory scheme that affect programs abroad, as well as the thorny issues of the ever-changing visa requirements for international program participants, financial aid for students who study/extern abroad, and the liability of law schools for unanticipated events that may occur in their programs abroad.

    Business Meeting at Program Conclusion.
