    Law librarians are uniquely situated within the academy to explore how expanded information access has transformed both law and research. This program features new librarian scholarship that will:

    1) track new sources of legal authority and law-related information;

    2) examine empirically how a multiplicity of research tools affects lawyers’ legal analysis;

    3) use qualitative techniques to explore the research process of doctrinal and interdisciplinary legal scholars; and

    4) analyze how user-generated content in interactive research environments creates new intellectual property.  Two commenters will add synthesizing insights and point the way towards related areas for further research.
