The law in the area of sexual minorities and family changes almost on a daily basis. This panel will contextualize these changes in a more wide-ranging debate. Panelists will offer historical and empirical perspectives on issues such as marriage, custody, parenting, single parenting and poverty. Panelists will raise questions about how history and social science literature are used in legal arguments.
