This panel will explore the role of lawyers, legal scholars, and law students advocating for justice on behalf of the global majority. As forms of political, economic, and social subjugation persist post-colonization, legal practitioners have used domestic and international law to resist domination and seek a more equitable global order. Panelists will examine historical and current legal strategies, highlight key international issues, and discuss theoretical frameworks for empowering marginalized communities.
