On June 15, 2020, the Supreme Court issued its long awaited decision in Bostock v. Clayton County. The Court held that workplace discrimination based on gender identity or sexual orientation is sex discrimination that violates Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. This panel will discuss the decision and its legal significance for LGBTQ+ persons in terms of employment, education, health care and coverage, housing, immigration, and other areas of life.
