In a fractured world filled with divisive and polarizing rhetoric, student services professionals have a unique opportunity to model and teach future leaders how to engage in civil and productive dialogue during times of conflict. The fundamental premise of restorative practices is that people are more likely to experience increased happiness, cooperation, productivity, and positive change when authority figures, such as student services professionals, work with them rather than do things to them or for them. This interactive training will introduce various best practices in teaching law students how to effectively engage in difficult conversations and resolve conflicts.
