This panel will address best practices and
ABA expectations for new ABA Standard 303 implementation, as reflected in a
Fall 2022 site visit, and how Associate Deans may act to ensure that the
responsibility for implementing Standard 303 is dispersed equitably. We plan to
specifically address the concern that this work may fall disproportionately on
those faculty or staff who are already overworked and/or unprotected by tenure,
such as skills faculty, academic support professionals, and career services
advisors. We plan to open the discussion to explore implementation experiences,
particularly as they relate to distributing the workload.
