Design Thinking is a process for creative problem-solving that uses an iterative, staged approach to check assumptions and uncover solutions that may not be immediately apparent. Unlike many design processes that focus primarily on creativity, Design Thinking is human-centered and revolves around the end users who will be interacting with the final design. First used in product design, Design Thinking is becoming a more common tool used by lawyers to tackle problems and spur creative thinking.

In this workshop, participants will learn Design Thinking by working in small groups to solve a problem using the Design Thinking method. Once participants understand how Design Thinking works, we will discuss the various ways Design Thinking can be used in transactional clinic settings.
