Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health
Organization has opened the way to a new era of interjurisdictional conflicts.
In reversing Roe v. Wade and returning abortion law to the states, the Dobbs
decision has already spawned jurisdictional clashes between
abortion-restrictive states and states seeking to preserve access to abortion
rights as well as federal-state conflicts. These interjurisdictional conflicts
are likely to persist for the foreseeable future. This panel brings together
experts in conflicts of law, constitutional law, and reproductive rights to
discuss the aftermath of Dobbs and the future of interstate and state-federal
conflicts in a post-Roe world
Business meeting at program conclusion.
