How do you teach technological competence or law practice technology without using technology? You don’t. Third-party vendors Westlaw and Lexis have been part of the law school classroom for decades in the research curriculum, but many teachers in the legal technology and practical skills space cast a wider net to engage more technologists and vendors to enhance the student learning experience. This session will welcome some short spotlight sessions from vendors to simulate what the classroom experience might be for students, and then a discussion panel will explore how and why we use third-party tools to support pedagogical teaching goals.
