This Joint Scholars and Scholarship Colloquium on Feminist Jurisprudence will feature lunch and an afternoon of presentations and small-group scholarship workshops. The thread that runs through these is feminist jurisprudence, revealed in a variety of contexts such as family law, tax law, animal law, corporate law, and narrative in the legal writing classroom. The opening plenary is “So What is a Feminist Scholar and Feminist Scholarship Anyway?” The closing plenary is “The U.S. Feminist Judgments Project: Collaboration as a Feminist Model for Creative Scholarship.” Between the plenary sessions, scholars will present their work for discussion and comment in small-group workshops. The Section on Legal Writing, Reasoning, and Research co-sponsors this Scholars and Scholarship Colloquium with the Legal Writing Institute and Association of Legal Writing Directors, and Fordham Law School. The Colloquium will take place at Fordham Law School’s Skadden Center.
