For generations, the demands and pressures of law school have taken a toll on students, faculty, and administrators alike. In recent years, the pandemic, the “Great Resignation”, increasing disability accommodation needs, the impact of the murder of George Floyd, and other field-specific challenges are driving changes in who can be a law student services professional and what our work entails. Join us for a roundtable discussion about the history of the field, its present challenges, the importance of self-care, and how we can work together to transform it into a more equitable and sustainable profession in the future. The discussion will be followed by the Student Services Section Business Meeting and the presentation of the Peter N. Kutulakis Award.
