2020 marks the 30th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act and a little over 30 years since Kimberlé Crenshaw’s seminal article “Demarginalizing the Intersection of Race and Sex, a Black Feminist Critique of Antidiscrimination Doctrine, Feminist Theory and Antiracist Politics.” In celebration of these overlapping anniversaries, this panel will bring together a wide array of scholars doing work at the intersection of disability and other experiences, including race, immigration status, gender, and more.
