The field of remedies as a distinct subject of inquiry and instruction has continued to grow, especially through the proliferation of law school courses dedicated to the topic as well of available casebooks and materials. This panel will explore topics of perennial interest to remedies teachers, such as choosing what topics to cover and the uses of cases and problems. It will also connect how we teach remedies to the larger responsibilities of legal education, especially preparing future lawyers to navigate socially and politically controversial disputes with clarity and rigor.
