Retirement inequity is a function of the structural design of employer-sponsored retirement plans. Although the SECURE ACT 2.0 of 2022 attempted to address some of these structural barriers, more reforms are needed so that all workers can achieve retirement income security. The program speakers will identify the ways in which the current system leads to retirement insecurity for some and propose possible solutions. This program is being co-sponsored by the Sections on Aging and the Law, Minority Groups, and Poverty Law.
