The Clinical Legal Education Association (CLEA) will present its annual awards for (1) Outstanding Advocate for Clinical Teachers and (2) Excellence in a Public Interest Case or Project. This year more than ever calls for opportunities to celebrate the work of clinics and clinicians advancing social justice and clinical legal education. The CLEA Award for Outstanding Advocate for Clinical Teachers recognizes an individual who has served as a voice for clinical teachers and who has contributed to the advancement of experiential legal education. CLEA established the Award for Excellence in a Public Interest Case or Project to recognize a case or project that truly contributes to the public good by addressing high-priority needs or advancing civil rights, civil liberties, human rights, legal services, environmental protection, or consumer protection. We look forward to honoring and celebrating the nominees and awardees.
