What does it mean to produce scholarship in times of triage? For
some, it captures the perpetual challenge of writing while balancing teaching,
clients, service, and family. For
others, triage reflects the acute, recent experience of writing during the
pandemic. For many, triage might reflect a sense of conflict about scholarship
when our communities face emergencies and challenges seemingly more urgent than
our writing. The session welcomes all reactions to these habitual—and perhaps
newly heightened—challenges. We hope to give space for sharing and recognition
and welcome idea-generation about grappling with this dimension of being a
clinical writer.
