Emerging social science research has begun to identify the long-term impacts of the pandemic on the mental health of teenagers and young adults. In addition to increased reports of depression and anxiety, this generation of current and future law students, staff, and faculty are also experiencing neurological impacts to cognitive and executive functioning. This program will first explore the findings of the American Psychological Association studies and then contextualize those results in the law school environment. Panelists will offer first-hand perspectives on these changed students and colleagues and their impact in legal education.
