Although the COVID-19 pandemic’s economic effects are beginning to wane, the long-term insurance implications are still just beginning to become clear. This panel welcomes research of these timely issues. Suggested topics include pandemic related D&O coverage risks and securities class action litigation; the need for business interruption insurance reform; private insurers’ and reinsurers’ capacity to cover pandemic-type risks; and coverage questions in property and casualty, auto, and life insurance.
