This workshop provides an opportunity to frankly discuss and collectively brainstorm around the common issues that clinicians of color experience in their predominantly white institutions, with a particular emphasis on how to take on campus leadership roles and advance one’s academic career or scholarly profile while facing anti-Blackness and insidious notions of race as unintellectual. Workshop presenters will provide framing comments before opening the conversation up to participants to share any experiences and concerns for group discussion.
