Over time, the agency relationship and unincorporated business entities have been used for a variety of activities and ventures. A constraint on their use is, of course, the mandate that these legal structures exist for a lawful purpose. Not all lawful purposes are necessarily ethical. This panel explores the use of agency and unincorporated business entities from a range of ethical angles, including professional responsibility, professional identity formation, the meaning and application of fiduciary and other obligations, and engagement with applicable moral philosophical principles.
