In recent years, we have seen a resurgence of conversations about movement lawyering. This panel will explore how professors and law students are bringing conversations about movement lawyering into the classroom. How can clinical and doctrinal immigration courses effectively engage with historical and contemporary conceptualizations of the relationship between lawyers and social change? How does the political climate where we work affect these conversations and impact the ways in which we incorporate critical perspectives about lawyering for social change into our immigration courses?
