Most of us have received little to no training on how to be an effective teacher.  How can you be an effective teacher if you cannot manage your classroom?  How can you be in control of a classroom with more than 100 law students?  How do you handle students who dominate the discussion and ignore your requests?   What if you encounter a bully or a violent student?  In the age of the 24/7 digital world, wherein your classroom time is extended beyond actual class hours, should you “friend”, tweet, or chat with your students?   Should you allow Internet use in the classroom?  Presenters will discuss different approaches to managing the classroom and how to become an effective teacher.
