    In this session, Victoria Sutton walks through the process of using original social sciences survey data to effect change in a regulation. Her published research was cited by President Obama's Office of Science and Technology Policy as the basis for a review of a regulation, which was revised after two years of community and government comments and hearings.  This will be an interactive session, so please bring your own research ideas for audience feedback. Please briefly include how your social sciences research through surveys or other research methods might enhance your own scholarly agenda
