Educational equity is a goal we all share—a goal that demands increased attention as the legal education community continues to confront systemic racism and institutional barriers to academic achievement. If we understand educational equity as the principle that all students should have access to the resources, they need to achieve their goals regardless of their identity, then we need to use new and inclusive approaches. We will discuss how assessments, including LSAC’s new initiatives that involve assessments, can support the academic success of all learners.
