    Competition in health care is a fundamental issue to a better functioning health care system that benefits consumers.  The Section will present a panel to discuss some of the most exciting issues in the interface between the two areas: competition between for profits and not for profits, hospital mergers, anti-competitive state licensing and other forms of state action, reverse payments in pharmaceuticals, integration through ACOs or merger, and contractual relations between payers and providers.
