In SCOTUS confirmation hearings, Ruth Bader Ginsburg said, “the decision whether . . . to bear a child is central to a woman’s life. . . . when Government controls that decision for her, she is being treated as less than a fully adult human. ” On June 24, the Court in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, stripped that constitutional right from more than half of Americans. Roughly half of the states have banned or plan to ban or restrict access to abortion. This panel explores how to move forward without the protections of a constitutional right.
