Just as a pandemic changes lives, it also changes and highlights challenges within systems. This program's panelists examine how COVID-19 has affected family law. Panelists will discuss COVID's effects on domestic violence, including clinical students' research; on marriage and non-marriage, including altered pressure to marry in a time of quarantine; on the creation of a "perfect storm" from the interplay of the elderly population's needs, family caregivers, and the virus; and on children, especially health and educational implications for children of color.
