    This session will reflect on the significant impact of the Indian Self-Determination Education Assistance Act (ISDEAA). Since its inception in 1975, the ISDEAA has empowered Tribes across the United States to exercise sovereignty, revitalize cultural heritage, and enhance the well-being of their communities. Speakers will delve into the various aspects of the ISDEAA, including the historical background of the Act and success stories of how it has catalyzed positive change within Tribal Nations. Ongoing challenges to fully exercising self-determination will also be discussed along with opportunities for further advancement in the future.
